COWAN Architects Ltd has appointed specialist conservation and heritage architect, Jonathan Cerowski as a key member of its team.
Jonathan has a background in conservation having worked for several of the heritage market leaders and honed his talents on buildings and churches which are household names.
Recently he completed several sensitive repair projects at the Palace of Westminster.
He has also contributed to written reports for an array of National Trust and English Heritage projects and was the project architect for the conservation of part of the Grade I listed Gibb’s façade at Bart’s Hospital.
He said: “With good experience in both churches and residential projects of the calibre of Woburn Abbey, I am looking forward to helping Cowan’s heritage clients unlock the opportunities available to them by navigating the constraints in the process and facilitating the best outcome for all stakeholders.”
He joins Cowan Architects, based in East Grinstead, from London heritage specialists Donald Insall Associates.
Cowan Architects offers design solutions across many areas of work.
It won a Sussex Heritage Trust Award for the quality of its restoration of Old Stone House in East Grinstead when the building became its new office.
Cowan Architects is also well known for its and healthcare work.
