THE original home of The Body Shop headquarters in Littlehampton is to become a new Enterprise Hub.

BizSpace, the largest provider of flexible workspace with offices and workshops across the UK, has acquired the 30,000 sq ft office building.

The Enterprise Hub is located adjacent to a new Morrisons supermarket and comprises a two-storey office building with a mix of open-plan and partitioned office space.

It is situated at the junction of the A259 and the A284.

BizSpace will fully refurbish the office building providing 73 new workspaces available on short-term agreements.

The planned refurbishment works will update the existing interiors, providing modern workspaces, centre-wide Wi-Fi and a large communal area.

Development director Nick Smith said: “This acquisition is part of our ambitious growth plans to acquire single sites, portfolios and development opportunities.

“The Enterprise Hub is a fantastic site that offers huge potential for redevelopment.

“We start work next week to provide the area and local community with much-needed modern workspace facilities, and anticipate completion early in the second half of 2018.

“Arun District Council has supported our proposals to regenerate the Enterprise Hub and we will also be working with the council’s economic development team to provide help and advice to small businesses operating in the area.

“We’re committed to investing time and money into developing modern business environments and look forward to creating a vibrant working community where the small businesses and entrepreneurs in the region can thrive.”

BizSpace was founded in 2000 with one site and today has over 100

It offers short-term agreements across 2,500 offices and 3,500 workshops in business centres and trading estates across 6m sq ft in the UK
