THE Worthing Argus took another huge step forward this week with the launch of The Argus Amplify Business Club.

Argus MD Tony Portelli and Advertisement Director Richard Harmer have been staging special sessions for businesses at The Burlington Hotel in Marine Parade.

Mr Portelli said: “The Argus is delighted to have launched the Amplify Business Club at the Burlington Hotel in Worthing.

“This event provides expert advice on marketing and branding for success both online and offline to local businesses and ran from Monday until today, Wednesday.

Hundreds of businesses have attended the three-day launch.

Mr Portelli said: “Those who attended took away some strategic marketing advice that they could implement immediately within their businesses to help them grow and achieve their goals for the year ahead.

“Many took up the exclusive opportunity to plan for success whilst securing their online and offline advertising for the for the year ahead at the best possible rates by partnering with us.”

The Worthing Argus was launched in the autumn and is part of The Argus strategy to deliver a first class service to both advertisers and readers.

The Argus was voted Newsbrand of the Year at the recent Newsquest Excellence Awards and was also recognised as the Digital Centre of the Year.

2017 also saw The Argus at the top of the circulation charts for year on year newspaper sales performance.

Mr Portelli said: “The Worthing Argus is proving a huge success.
