A YOUNG football team has benefited from a sponsorship deal with housebuilder Cala Homes.

The company, which is building at Cresswell Park in Angmering, has donated £450 to Rustington Otters FC Under Eights for new branded shirts for the whole team.

Coach Jonathan Jones said: “We are extremely grateful to Cala Homes for coming on board and supporting our under-eights team.

“Having a professional kit allows the players to present themselves as a united team, creates a sense of pride and will hopefully see them to even greater success this season.

“The coaches were so impressed with the new kit that we thought it would be good if we had matching jackets too so we chipped in and got these for ourselves too.”

The donation by Cala Homes is part of the company’s commitment to support the communities in which it builds.

Nicki Dennis, sales and marketing director for Cala (South Home Counties), said: “We were delighted to be working with Rustington Otters FC and sponsoring the under-eights’ team.

“We feel that it is very important for us to play an active role in our local community and hope these new kits will inspire the children and help them look good while enjoying their sport.”
