A SALON has reached the finals of the Official Make-Up Awards 2018.

The Glam Bar in Avis Road, Newhaven, is one of the finalists in the Make-Up Salon of the Year category.

The black-tie awards event will be held at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel on Sunday, May 27.

The awards seek to provide a platform to acknowledge and honour the work of the best professionals and businesses in the British make-up industry.

Glam Bar owner Sammy Seagrave said: “I couldn’t be prouder of The Glam Bar and the Glam Squad Team.

“To have achieved such significant recognition having been open such a short space of time is amazing and fills me with pride.

There is a diverse range of accolades up for grabs, including Make-Up Salon of the Year, Freelance Make-Up Artist of the Year and Creative Make-Up Artist of the Year.
