THE University of Brighton has been ranked among the best in the world for fashion.

Ceoworld, the New York and UK-based business magazine written for senior management executives and business leaders, ranked 110 fashion schools globally and placed Brighton 13th.

Dr Caterina Radvan, the university’s academic programme leader for fashion and textiles, said: “It is fantastic to see our fashion courses being recognised as amongthe best in the world.

“This builds on the university’s international reputation for its teaching, practice and research in the arts.

“Our students are fantastically talented and are taught on courses designed and delivered by experienced professionals.”

Alumni include fashion designers Emily Diamandis of Rag and Bone, Brighton’s Gresham Blake, pictured, and Ong Oaj Pairam who has designed gowns for the likes of Hunger Games actress Natalie Dormer.
