Brighton festival rocked by loss of funding

A summer festival has been rocked by the loss of £10,000 of funding.

The Nice Weather For Airstrikes festival, which has been held at the Druids in Ditchling Road, Brighton for the last three years and was hoping to hold an outdoor stage on the Level for the first time this year.

Now the festival, which is due to be held over four days from Friday May 25, has learnt that agreed £10,000 funding from young people’s charity The Twisted Foundation has fallen through.

Organisers are now looking for local businesses to get involved and help the festival to carry out its original planned programme.

To get involved with the festival contact info@niceweatherforairstrikes.co.uk.

"Nice weather for Airstrikes"..."young people’s charity The Twisted Foundation".

I would gladly contribute to the cost of calling in a airstrike on that location before the festival starts!

It's great to see people using initiative and trying to make use of an area of Brighton usually used for such negative stuff and such a shame to see it's been set back. Lets hope the local community can be supportive and get behind these guys to help them out a bit.
