Carnival organisers are looking for sponsors. The Kemp Town Carnival in Brighton will take place on June 9. The 16-year-old annual event attracts more than 20,000 people.
Cabinet member for culture, recreation and tourism and chair of the Kemp Town Carnival, Geoffrey Bowden, called for businesses to support the community celebration.
He said: “The carnival is a unique opportunity for businesses to be part of a vibrant event that is long-established in the hearts of the local community.
“Steadily growing in popularity, the event has earned itself a great reputation which has been reflected in visitor feedback and press coverage. “We have sponsor packages to suit each size of business and desired level of exposure and would like a range of local partners to come on board.” Sponsorship packages range from £250-£5,000.”
