If you want to succeed in business you’ve got to put your face about – and that goes as much for the online corporate image as it does for personal networking.

Experts say that video is fast becoming a must for businesses with an online presence.

The trick of creating video content that produces results is one that Tim Jarvis, together with right-hand man Tom Harrison, claims to have mastered since setting up SeeThat just under a year ago.

Shortly after setting up in April 2010, SeeThat secured a summer deal with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), and grew sufficiently to take office space in Church Road, Hove. A host of other contracts have since followed. Brighton born Mr Jarvis studied sports management at Cardiff University and discovered just how valuable a tool video content could be during a successful two-and-a-half-year spell working with Sussex County Cricket Club from 2008.

He said: “When I managed to increase yearly hits to Sussex Cricket’s website by 104% and annual website-generated revenue by 87.5%, I realised how powerful the internet could be for businesses. That gave me the desire start up SeeThat.

“We specialise in creating video, animation and motion graphics for use on all platforms. Due to the evolution of the internet, we focus on online video and there is strong reasoning behind this.

“Since Google acquired YouTube, you are 50 times more likely to be found on Google by having video content on your site. By improving search engine optimisation (SEO), as well as engaging with current and potential clients, video increases your chances of obtaining the business you want.

“That’s where SeeThat can help. We know what search engines look for, so we can make sure videos and website are found more easily and more often. “The effects are multiplied if these videos are of high quality in both content and style.”

Now Mr Jarvis is confident the company will continue to grow quickly. He said: “It’s been an incredible first year in business and I am planning to build on those strong foundations.

“I want SeeThat to be leading the way with online video and continue to be the forward thinking, creative and likeable company that we are today.”
