Brighton lingerie designers dress hotel room to impress

Two lingerie designers have created a “room with a phew” at a popular boutique hotel.

Stevi Jalbert and Emma Sandlam King, founders of sexy underwear specialists Ophelia Fancy, have decorated the room at Hotel Pelirocco with items and accessories from their saucy collections.

Stevi said: “We sponsored the hotel’s Fancy Pants room about two years ago and when we looked to see how we could update it, we decided to give it a complete overhaul.

“We hope when people from London or around the world stay there they will go back and tell their friends all about us.

“Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.”

The new room at the hotel in Regency Square, Brighton, called the Ophelia Fancy Upper Room, features a print supplied by Brighton-based Spectrum Photography and hand-made lights donated by London designer Emerald Fairy.

Stevi and Emma, who are both 27 and live in Brighton, change their lingerie collection every six months and will update the room accordingly.

Stevi said: “Linking with Hotel Pelirocco is fantastic because it’s cool and quirky and sits well with our company.”
