SIX teenage boys have been arrested after a stabbing left a man in hospital.

Police were called to a stabbing near the Grenadier pub, in Hangleton, at around 10pm on Friday night.

An area outside the pub was cordoned off whilst police carried out searches - see video.

This morning (Sunday) police confirmed to The Argus that two men in their 20s were assaulted in Queens Parade, Hangleton.

One of the the men has sustained "serious stab wounds", and was taken immediately to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Poliuce have arrested three 15-year-old boys and three 16-year-old boys, all from Brighton and Hove, in relation to the incident.

All are currently in custody.

Police are appealing for witnesses who can contact them on 101 or online, quoting incident 1314 of 12/01.18.
