ST Augustine’s Centre has been given a new lease of life after being redundant and unloved for more than ten years.

It was on the buildings ‘at risk’ register in 2013 but is now a home for the arts, wellbeing and spiritual sectors.

The new Space Yoga Studio within the building opened at the start of the month.

An ambitious programme of arts events, Artworks, is taking place during Brighton Fringe.

Meanwhile, St Augustine’s Holistic Therapies is a new therapy centre offering a unique variety body massages and complimentary counselling treatments.

The mission for Holistic Therapies is to offer the best therapists and councillors from the region, and to use ethical and sustainably sourced products and remedies for treatments.

Treatments range from popular formats such as popular aromatherapy, deep tissue massage and acupunture to the less well-known cosmetic acupuncture, scar therapy and arvigo.

Therapies range from art therapy and polarity therapy to healing and bold soul life coaching.

A spokesman said: “The range of treatments and therapies available in this wonderful building in one place is unique and specialists that you won’t find elsewhere in Brighton.”
