THE brother of a man who lost his arms and legs after he was stabbed is fighting for life after he was also attacked with a knife.

Enos Moyo was walking home with his girlfriend from his brother Ernest ‘Joe’ Moyo’s house in Goring when he was set on by a gang of men.

The 26-year-old, from Goring, was stabbed in the side and was found injured in Bolsover Road after his girlfriend ran for help.

Enos Moyo remains in a critical condition at a hospital in London and his brother said he now fears for his own safety after the attack.

Ernest Moyo was attacked in August 2012. He was stabbed three times, once in the thigh and twice in the stomach.

The infection caused by his injuries meant both of his arms and legs had to be amputated. Four men were jailed for a total of 61 years for the attack in June this year.

He said: “It is a bit suspicious but at the moment we have not heard anything about who did this.

“We are just waiting to see what happens, but he is in a stable condition.

“As it stands, we do have our worries. It is appalling. Obviously I am scared for my own safety.”

Three men have been arrested over the attack on Friday. Mr Moyo was found at 10.30pm.

His older brother added: “He was at my house with his girlfriend.

“At around half ten they decided to go home, but they decided not to get a taxi because it was so warm.

“They left and then about ten minutes later his girlfriend came running back and said they had been attacked.”

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the attackers are believed to have been known to the victim. A 29-year-old, a 26-year-old and a 35-year-old, all from London, were arrested on suspicion of GBH and have been bailed.
