A 16-YEAR-OLD has been arrested over the alleged assault and attempted robbery of another 16-year-old.
Police said the victim was approached by two boys, one of whom punched him and tried to take his bike.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident outside Waitrose in Vicarage Road, Hailsham, on Tuesday October 28.
The victim suffered reddening on his face but did not seek hospital treatment, Sussex Police said.
The 16-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery has been bailed until December 11.
