Concern is growing about the whereabouts of a teenager who has gone missing.

Tonie Cox, 17, from Eastbourne was last seen on Friday (November 28) around 6.30pm at Portsmouth and Southsea train station making her way back to Eastbourne. However, she has not been seen since.

Missing persons co-ordinator Wai Lee said: "Tonie would have needed to change trains at Brighton and we are appealing to anyone who saw her on any of her journeys.

"She is described as white, 5' 4", slim with her eyebrow pierced, two lip piercings and black shoulder length hair, which is sometimes blonde.

"She was last seen wearing a green parker coat with a fur trim on the hood, black trainers and carrying a JD Sport bag.

"She may have also travelled by train to the Hackney area of London."
