The family of a cyclist who died in a road collision has paid tribute to a "much-loved" husband.
Mike Dixon, 65, of Trundle Mead, Horsham, was cycling south in Kerves Lane, Horsham, when he struck by a silver Citroen shortly before 11am on Monday (8 December), police said.
His family said today in a statement: "Mike was a much loved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He lost his life doing something he loved.
"We are devastated by our sudden loss and ask for privacy at this difficult time."
Police have charged a man who has given his name as Luigi Dannile, 26, of Broadwater Lane, Copsale, near Horsham, with causing death by dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
The man was remanded in custody to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court today (Wednesday December 10).
Police are still appealing for any witnesses to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Ashling or call 101.
