DJ Neil Fox has been arrested on suspicion of a further three sexual assaults.

The 53-year-old Magic presenter, known as Dr Fox, said he strenuously denied the allegations after he was questioned at a central London police station yesterday.

The broadcaster was quizzed by police as he answered bail over four separate alleged sexual assaults against two women, including three “non-recent” allegations and one from earlier this year.

He was arrested for those in September, after which police searched addresses in southwest London and Littlehampton. He now faces a total of seven allegations by five women and has been bailed to a date in March 2015.

Two of the latest alleged assaults are said to have happened in the 1990s, while the third is said to have taken place in 2007.

Speaking to ITV News, Fox said: “[I’m] obviously extremely upset about these allegations. [I] strenuously deny these allegations.”

The arrest is not part of Operation Yewtree, the sex crime investigation launched in the wake of revelations about DJ Jimmy Savile and others, Scotland Yard said.
