A MAN was robbed in his car when another man got in and demanded money.
The victim, a 23-year-old man from Pevensey Bay, was sat in his car, a blue Fiat Punto, in Eastbourne on Sunday at about 1pm.
He was parked in a space near to a taxi rank at the Langney Shopping Centre.
His attacker hit him on the head and stole his mobile phone and some money.
Detective Constable Julie Cocklin said: "The victim, thankfully, wasn't seriously injured.
"He describes the suspect as a white man, about 28 or 29 years old, of medium build, about 5ft 11in, with blonde and brown scruffy hair and a navy blue hooded top and blue jeans."
