A suspected burglar who skipped bail and returned to his native Poland has been extradited back to England.
Tomasz Krukowski, 33, formerly of The Croft, Bognor Regis, failed to return on bail to Sussex Police in September 2013.
He had been due to be charged with conspiracy to commit burglary across Sussex at houses in Chichester, Petworth, Bosham, Slindon, Broadbridge Heath and surrounding areas.
Police from the Pomeranian Command, Gdansk, subsequently arrested Krukowski in Czarne, Northern Poland, and he was flown back to Britain.
On Tuesday (16 December) Krukowski appeared before Crawley magistrates after being charged with conspiracy to commit dwelling burglaries between September 19 2011 and May 16 2012.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Chichester Crown Court on January 14 2015.
