POLICE are still searching for a violent prisoner who has been on the run for nearly five months.
Lucas Lamb, walked out and failed to return to Ford Prison on September 5 last year, and police are now broadening their enquiries to cover the whole of East Sussex as well as Swindon in Wiltshire, following the receipt of new information.
Lamb, 31, was convicted of GBH with intent in Hailsham in October 2012.
He is described as white, 5' 8", thin with short brown hair and blue eyes with a tattoo on his lower neck which says Cleo and has a scar above his right eye.
He has links to the Hailsham and Eastbourne areas.
Chief Inspector Gary Pike, Wealden District Commander said: "We are offering a reward of £300 for information leading to his arrest."
