Man charged over crash in Worthing which led to death of 87-year-old woman
A MAN has been charged in connection with a fatal crash.
Richard Godfrey, 51 of Blackthorns, Hurstpierpoint has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while unlicensed and uninsured and driving with uncorrected defective eyesight.
The collision occurred at 6.50pm on July 31 last year, close to the junction of the B2223 Dominion Road with Southdown View Road in Worthing.
Eileen Scott, 87, died on August 2.
He will appear at Worthing Magistrates Court on March 10.
