A STABBING victim has awoken from a coma.
The 32-year-old victim was attacked in a flat in Wilbury Gardens, Hove, on April 13, and was taken to hospital by air ambulance in a critical condition.
Police said he is now being treated in King’s College Hospital, London, where he is improving.
A spokesman said: “He has been awake and is aware of what has happened to him.
It is hoped that he will be moved back to hospital in Brighton in the next few days.”
Stephen Cochran, 41, of Wilbury Gardens, Hove, was charged with the attempted murder.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court tomorrow.
