A woman has been sexually assaulted while she blacked out during an epileptic fit.
The horrific incident happened in St Anne's Well Gardens, Hove, between 1am and 2am on Thursday. The incident wasn't reported to Sussex Police until later in the day.
The victim also had her iPod stolen during the assault.
Detective Sergeant Emma Vickers, of Brighton CID, said: "This was a particularly nasty attack, targeting someone who was extremely vulnerable.
"The victim recalls seeing a man in a hoodie walking through the park shortly before the incident. I'd ask that person to come forward as they may be able to help us with our enquiries."
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious, or who may have other information, is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1112 of June 18.
Alternatively witnesses or those with information should contact the independent charity Crimestoppers without having to leave their name on 0800 555 111.
