A truck driver caught on video overtaking a car and going the wrong way roundabout is to appear in court.
Stephen Weller, of Crawley Down Road, Felbridge, has been charged with dangerous driving following the incident on the B2028 Selsfield Road southbound in Turners Hill.
The driver of the lorry beloning to Matthews (Sussex) Ltd – a Three Bridges based firm specialising in demolition and earthworks - was caught on video on April 29.
The 52-year-old is due to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on July 15.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Following a report to police regarding an allegation of dangerous driving against a HGV tipper in Turners Hill on the April 29.
"The driver, Stephen Weller, 52, of Crawley Down Road, Felbridge has been summonsed for the offence of dangerous driving.”
Matthews (Sussex) Ltd transport manager Simon Dyer said the driver had been dismissed following the incident.
