AN ENRAGED driver punched the door of a car and racially abused its driver.
Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to a road rage incident after two drivers began arguing at the junction of Brassey Parade and Edgeland Terrace, Eastbourne, when it became blocked with traffic.
During the argument one of the men punched the door of a blue Renault Clio causing it slight damage, racially abused the driver and then left the area at about 5.15pm on Saturday July 11.
Sussex Police want to contact a woman who spoke to the victim of the incident immediately after it happened.
A 27-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested, questioned on suspicion of racially aggravated harassment and criminal damage and released on bail until July 31.
