A MAN was stabbed in his abdomen during a group argument outside a pub.

The 46-year-old from Crawley was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been discharged but police want more information about the attack.

It happened outside The Punchbowl pub in the town's High Street at about 10pm last Thursday.

A knife was recovered during a search of the area but is yet to be tested forensically to establish if it is linked to this incident.

A 46-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and released on police bail until November 6.

A 54-year-old man from Crawley was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and released on police bail until November 6.

Detective Sergeant Victoria Tomlinson said: "We would like to hear from anybody who may have been in the area at the time and saw the group of men arguing."
