ITEMS worth up to £100,000 has been taken on a raid on a jewellers.
The haul was taken from Ernest Jones, in the Arndale Centre, Eastbourne, in a burglary which happened in the early hours of the morning.
A member of staff at the shopping centre raised the alarm at 1.13am on Monday (April 18).
A Sussex Police spokesman said the burglars smashed their way into the store and took stock with an estimated value of between £50,000 and £100,000.
He added that officers would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, in particular three men who appeared to be wearing bright coloured ski jackets and scarfs covering their faces.
