A MAN is being hunted in connection with the theft of cash at a newsagent.
Sussex Police has issued an image of a man they want to speak to after £60 was taken from an elderly woman at a Portslade shop.
The victim, an elderly woman, was at the counter in Rishi News, in South Street, when she became distracted by a young child.
She later realised her purse was missing and, upon returning to the store to collect it, she discovered £60 in cash was missing.
Police are investigating the incident which happened shortly after 1pm last Friday (April 22).
A Sussex Police spokesman said the suspect is a white man in his 30s, who was wearing a black hat and a striped T-shirt or jumper.
