A 90-year-old man has been accused of indecently assaulting a child in a Tesco supermarket.
Peter Cleaver, of New Church Road, Hove, appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court accused of three sex offences against a girl who was aged under 14 between 1992 and 1997.
Two of the offences are alleged to have occurred at Tesco, in New Church Road, Hove.
The third offence at another address in Hove.
Cleaver appeared in court on May 26 and denied the charges. He was released on bail to appear at Lewes Crown Court on June 23.
