A man was robbed at knifepoint on his way home.
Detectives are investigating the street robbery in Vale Gardens, Portslade.
Just before 1am on Wednesday the 27-year-old victim from Southwick, was walking home listening to music on headphones.
Two men approached him from behind, punched him in the face and threatened him with a knife, forcing him to hand over his wallet.
Luckily he was not seriously injured.
Both attackers were white men in their late teens to early 20s and both spoke with local accents.
One was 6ft tall and slim, wearing a black hooded anorak. The other was shorter - 5ft7ins to 5ft8ins wearing a black-hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.
After stealing the wallet they made off on foot into Vale Park.
