Conifer trees were burned to the ground in a suspected arson attack in broad daylight.
A series of conifers were set alight and destroyed Sefton Avenue, Bognor Regis at 4.15pm on Saturday June 26.
Police are now interested to speak to a group of young people seen in the area around the time.
Earlier that day the group were filmed on a car's dashboard video camera, sitting outside Jordan's butchers shop nearby.
One of them was wearing a red top and police want to identify group members to see if they know anything about the torched trees or else can be eliminated from enquiries.
One person wearing a red top was seen in a group running away from the incident.
The youths or anyone who recognises them, or people who may have other information about the incident, are asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1159 of June 26.
