Sussex Police officers are investigating an allegation of rape
A MAN has been arrested after a woman reported she had been raped.
Officers arrested the 24-year-old man from Hove this morning.
Police are investigating after an allegation was made of a rape being committed in a property in Livingstone Road, Hove.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "The man from Hove has been detained on suspicion of committing the rape on July 2.
"He is known to the victim."
This afternoon the man was bailed until September while investigations continue.
