Police were called to the accident on the B2165 at Northiam
A TEENAGER has died after the car she was driving left the road and overturned.
The 19-year-old woman from Battle sustained fatal injuries after the accident on the B2165 at Northiam, north-west of Rye.
Emergency services were called at around 10.48pm on Tuesday (August 2) where they discovered a Ford Ka had left the road and overturned.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed between Watt's Palace Lane and the A28 Hastings Road until 3am while the crash was investigated and the scene cleared.
The East Sussex coroner has been informed.
