A MAN was rushed to hospital with head and leg injuries after being stabbed during a street fight.
Police are investigating an attack on the 31-year-old in Park Terrace East, Horsham, near a car park in adjacent Burnham Place.
At 7.40pm on Monday (September 19) officers were called to reports of a fight.
They found the victim, who is local, had several stab wounds to his leg and buttock as well as a head wound from a blunt instrument.
South East Coast Ambulance paramedics and an Air Ambulance attended.
The victim was taken by road ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he was treated for his injuries and discharged later the same evening.
A police spokesman said: "No arrests were made but enquiries are continuing to trace two men suspected of having been involved.
"We believe all three men are known to each other."
Police are not linking this incident to a serious assault that happened just metres away on June 8, in which another male victim was left with head injuries and stab wounds.
Three people originally arrested over this earlier incident been released without charge and a fourth, a 27-year-old man from Horsham, remains on bail until September 24. The victim's condition improved and he discharged himself from hospital.
