POLICE have released everyone arrested at an illegal rave on the South Downs on Sunday while investigations continue.
Nine people were arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance after the incident in the early hours of Saturday into Sunday on South Downs farmland near Woodingdean.
There were two people from Horsham – a 33-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man – plus two 37-year-old men from Shoreham and Brighton.
There were also two 21-year-old men – one from Worthing and one of no
fixed address – as well as a 22-year-old Worthing man, a 42-year-old man from
Bedfordshire and a 21-year-old man, of Dunsford, Surrey.
Police originally said 11 people were arrested.
The Horsham woman was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug and criminal property.
The Horsham man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug. The Shoreham man was also held on suspicion of possessing class A and B drugs.
A 25-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
They have all been released under investigation while further inquiries continue.
