THREE teenager have have been arrested after a man was stabbed on a night out in Brighton.
A 20-year-old man, who was visiting the city from London, was beaten up and received stab wounds to his back and legs after a fight in the Old Steine in the early hours of Saturday.
Officers were called to a reports of a large fight near to the fountain involving around 20 people.
When officers arrived, the group was dispersing but three people were arrested.
Three teenagers, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old from Brighton and a 17-year-old from Croydon were arrested for GBH with intent and have been released under investigation.
Witnesses or anyone who information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 124 of June 24.
Detective Constable Tom Coll said: “This is a very busy area of central Brighton even at this time in the morning and we are appealing to anyone who saw it happening.
“The suspects are believed to have come from the St James’s Street direction and we are appealing to anyone who was in that area who might have seen them heading towards Old Steine.”
