A DRIVER was chased by three men thought to have firearms.

The fracas happened at around 4.40pm on Sunday, September 10, in Ore, Hastings.

The men had initially got out of their Ford Fiesta car to attack the driver’s Ford Focus before the victim sped off.

But it crashed into the wall of a flat in Hughenden Road. The driver was then chased on foot by the three men, who were possibly armed with air pistols, but he managed to escape.

Detective Constable Ian Dearling said: “This appears to have been a targeted incident with at least one of the men in the Ford Focus being known to its pursuers.

“We’re grateful to witnesses who have already come forward but we need to identify those three suspects and their car – ideally someone may have noted its registration number or be able to confirm its make and model.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101.
