A KNIFEMAN is being hunted after a robbery on a newsagents this morning.
At around 8.30am, witnesses saw a man walk into P R News, in St James’ Street, Brighton, with a knife.
Witnesses said they then saw another man chase after him toward Old Steine.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "At 8.25am on Tuesday (October 10) a man threatened a sales assistant at P R News, St James's Street, Brighton, with a knife and stole a quantity of cigarettes.
"There is no report of any injury.
"Enquiries are under way and anyone who saw what happened can contact the police via the eform at sussex.police.uk/appealresponse or call 101, quoting serial 217 of October 10."
