A MAN armed himself with a cordless drill during an attack outside a nightclub.

Two people needed hospital treatment for injuries following the incident outside The Venue in Albion Way, Horsham in the early hours of Sunday.

The victims, both men aged 22 and from Crawley, and who had been accompanied by two women, were treated at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

Two men were involved in the attack with one suspect described as skinny, with short fair or light brown hair, about 5ft 11in and aged between 18 and 25.

He was wearing blue jeans, dark trainers and a sky-blue t-shirt with a logo on the front.

The other suspect was stocky, about 6ft 2in with a tanned complexion and about the same age.

He had a chubby face and was wearing a khaki puffa jacket with a fur hood and dark jeans.

It is believed the attackers may have been in the nightclub before the incident.

They left the scene in a black Volkswagen Golf car or similar vehicle.
