POLICE are looking for drivers who may have seen a crash in which a pedestrian was left fighting for his life.
The man was knocked down by a Peugeot as he crossed Broadwater road, Worthing, on Thursday.
The injured man was last night still in a life threatening condition at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton after being taken there by air ambulance.
Sergeant Alan Spicer of the roads policing unit said: “We have dashcam photos of two dark coloured cars who were stationary southbound in front of the collision and a white car which was travelling northbound and would have passed the collision.
“We want to hear from those drivers and also from the driver of the Mercedes Actros lorry which passed moments before the collision.”
Any driver should call 101 quoting Operation Raynham.
