St Peter's Street
A FLAT was set on fire after a lit piece of paper was pushed through a letterbox.
It happened in the early hours around 4.20am in a flat in St Peter’s Street Brighton.
The owners spotted it when he heard the smoke alarm and was able to put out the flames himself.
Police said they are treating the incident as arson with intent and are investigating.
Witnesses can call police on 101 quoting reference 102 of 26/01.
