Steven Jake Goodwin, 25, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing an electric razor and two bottles of coca-cola, worth £142.72, from Boots in the Arndale Centre, Eastbourne, and committing the offences while on suspended sentences for two shoplifting offences. Jailed for three weeks, fined £75 pus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Ryan Andrew Mark Garcia, 24, of Eden Close, Stone Cross, Pevensey, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.

Michael Andrew Coupe, 33, of Heron Ridge, Polegate, pleaded guilty to: three counts of assault by beating; assaulting a constable doing his duty; harassment; possessing the Class A drug MDMA; possessing cannabis; using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. Jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 24 months. Ordered to undergo alcohol dependency treatment for 24 months and participate in 30 ‘building better relations’ sessions. Also ordered to pay £150 costs, £600 compensation, and an £80 victim surcharge.

Leanne Patricia Louise Carson, 27, of Rockhurst Drive, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to stealing two deodorant cans, worth £5.19, from Tesco. Fined £73 plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

John Parsons, 27, of Susans Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Given a five-week curfew and ordered to do 40 hours’ unpaid work in the next twelve months. Also ordered to pay £250 compensation, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew James Laird, 24, of Northbourne Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £350 plus £35 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Robert Jacek Muszinski, 46, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing jeans and a jumper, worth £39.98, from TJ Hughes Store in Terminus Road, Eastbourne. Fined £73 plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Richard Lindsay, 27, of Woodward Close, Eastbourne, was handed a domestic violence protection order prohibiting him from going within 100m of an address in Eastbourne and from molesting a woman of the same address. The 28-day notice was served on October 1.

Diyari Ismaiel, 39, of Midhurst Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi in Eastbourne on December 31, 2013, without insurance. He was fined £270, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £27 and six points were added to his licence.

Rohan Chhctubhai Kamani, 34, of Midway Quay, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to breaking the 30mph speed limit in Lewes Road, Brighton in a Volvo on December 15. He was fined £100, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £20 and three points were added to his licence.
