A PASS rate of 99% has been achieved by Chichester College for a fourth year running.
The college’s overall pass rate is 99.2% It’s the eighth consecutive year that the A-level pass rate has come close to reaching 100%.
The college said:
- An impressive 28 A-level subjects have recorded 100% pass rates. These include several traditionally difficult subjects, such as biology, chemistry, maths, economics, French, geography, psychology, English literature and drama.
- The college’s record for maintaining high achievement also continues, with more than 79% of students achieving A*-C grades – an increase of 3% compared to last year.
Assistant principal Helen Loftus said: "Huge congratulations to all our A-level students.
"This is the fourth year that we have achieved a pass rate of 99% and it really is a superb achievement by our students.
"They have worked extremely hard, showing real determination and commitment to their studies and they have achieved some fantastic results. I am very proud."
