Students at Sir Robert Woodard Academy have celebrated another excellent set of A-Level results with a 91% pass rate in all subjects.
The number of students achieving the top grades of A*-B has increased to 53%.
The school said:
- Students excelled in Maths with an 86% A*-C pass rate
- 67% of students in Geography achieved an A*-C pass
- English an impressive 67% of students passed with an A*-B grade
- In Health & Social Care, 100% of students gained the equivalent of an A* or A grade
- 100% of all Performing Arts students achieving the equivalent of an A* grade.
Principal Peter Midwinter said: "These results reflect the talents of the students and the ability of committed and professional staff to ensure students succeed.
"The quality of the results demonstrates a continuing upward trend and achieving 53 % A* - B grades is over double where the results were in 2013.
"The whole Academy community can be pleased with what has been achieved."
