Profile:
Why I want to be an MP: I want to represent the local community and bring politics back to people. I think many people do not believe politics is relevant to their lives and I want to play my part in changing that. I want to put my experience and passion as a professional campaigner to good use and work hard for people in Brighton by representing them in the House of Commons. I am independently-minded and passionate about tackling inequality. If I am elected to Parliament, I will be very determined in my representation of the issues people in Brighton tell me are important to them.
Marital status: Lives with partner
Born: London, 1965
Address: Quebec Street, Brighton
Occupation: Professional campaigner – currently working for Consumer Focus.
Interests/hobbies: Walking, theatre, cinema, vegetarian cookery
