Name: Ian Fyvie
Candidate for: Brighton Pavilion
Party: Socialist Labour Party
Votes: 148
Profile:
Why I want to be an MP: My top priority would be blocking all the privatisations about to be forced on us after May 6.
Assets owned by us together through our city council and at national level are free of the usurers and global gamblers that have caused today’s economic crisis.
I want to change history.
That would be by ensuring the English origins of socialism are recognised in our schools, along with the history of ordinary working people over the centuries.
This includes a major place in Brighton history for the Victorian railway workers.
I would help repeal laws restricting trades unions today.
Party: Socialist Labour Party
Born: December 25, 1947, Woking, Surrey
Address: Gold Drive, Hollingdean
Occupation: Retired
Interests: Writing music for brass bands, folk singing and songwriting.
