Brighton day care centre crisis

The future of a day centre which has helped the homeless for 25 years remains uncertain.
St Anne's Day Care Centre was based at the Fitzherbert Centre, in Kemp Town, Brighton, before arsonists torched the building last year.
Volunteers, as well as three members of paid staff, have been operating from nearby St Mary's Church Hall so far this year.
But they will need to find a new venue as their agreement with St Mary's runs out in June.
Heather Kearon, appeals officer for St Anne's day centre, said the charity was still desperate to find a suitable location in the Kemp Town area.
St Anne's Day Care Centre officially restarted last November at the Fitzherbert Centre after the arson attack had gutted the building in May.
Building companies Rok and Rainbow both donated time and resources to refurbish the centre, on Upper Bedford Street.
Another arson attack earlier this year however has left St Anne's looking for a new permanent home.
Between 30 and 40 people regularly use St Anne's Day Care Centre, although Mrs Kearon said it has been without shower facilities since it moved into St Mary's Church Hall.
It will continue to open for homeless people from Monday to Friday between 10am and 12.30pm until the end of June.
