IN celebration of International Nurses Day, staff, consultants and patients at BMI The Esperance Hospital joined millions of people internationally in honouring the hard work, dedication and professionalism of nurses around the world.

International Nurses Day is a day of recognition and celebration as nurses worldwide unite to take pride in their jobs and highlight the crucial role they play in the delivery of healthcare provision worldwide.

To celebrate the day, all of The Esperance Hospital’s healthcare team were rewarded for their hard work and dedication.

Healthcare professionals at the hospital were treated to some cake.

Carmel Pilgram, director of Nursing at BMI The Esperance Hall Hospital, said: “International Nurses Day provides us with an excellent opportunity to give back to our staff and recognise the hard work and dedication they put in every day to ensure our patients get top-notch medical treatment delivered within a friendly, comfortable and compassionate environment.

“I feel very fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team of nurses and healthcare assistants at our hospital, so it’s an absolute pleasure to take a day out to pay tribute to the vital role they play in the running of Goring Hall Hospital.”
