HOSPITAL bosses are warning patients about changes to access routes while development work continues.
From Tuesday, August 29, until Sunday, September 24, the normal route to the multi-storey car park at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton will be shut.
The access from Bristol Gate across the hospital will be closed to allow the delivery of modules for a new building as part of the hospital development.
Drivers are being instructed to follow a signposted route to reach the multi-storey car park.
To help manage traffic during the closure the bottom of Whitehawk Hill Road will be made one way from north to south.
Parking bays next to the hospital on both Upper Abbey Road and Whitehawk Hill Road will also be suspended.
Patients are advised to allow extra time.
