HOSPITAL bosses have been forced to close wards and bay areas to new admissions following an outbreak of a highly infectious bug.
Managers at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton are asking people not to visit if they are showing symptoms of sickness and diarrhoea.
Also known as Norovirus, the bug can be easily passed from one person to another.
People are reminded to wash their hands before and after visiting a ward.
